Our Founder

Sashi Mahendra Singh (1920-1990) founded Ba Motor Parts in the 1950s.

A talented visionary, he identified Fiji’s dynamic  transport sector and ensured that Fijians would have access to quality automotive spare parts sourced from international producers.

Touted as “the Father of Fiji Soccer”,  the late Mr Singh had a distinct business acumen that he also  applied to football development. He introduced Fiji soccer’s national league competition and created the first and second divisions in the inter district soccer tournament.

Mr Singh was a formidable business and sporting figure and as a renowned player, coach and national soccer manager, he  shaped many football lives and helped propel Ba Town into a district that works hard and plays hard.
